Hatfield-McCoy Trails to Host Mud Buddies Fundraiser

Posted: Updated:

ATV enthusiasts from across southern West Virginia will have the chance to ride for a cause in early May.

The Mud Buddies Foundation is a West Virginia-based nonprofit that provides free guided ATV rides to children living with physical or developmental disabilities. On Saturday, May 5, the 2012 Ride for a Reason will give local ATV riders the chance to explore the Little Coal River Trail system, located just off Rt. 119 in Kanawha County, at a discounted price in order to raise money for the foundation.

Riders who pay the admission cost of $25 will get a two-day riding pass, lunch and the chance to win one of several door prizes including helmets, jerseys and Hatfield-McCoy TrailFest packages. All proceeds from admission sales will go to support the Mud Buddies Foundation.

Interested parties can register in advance by calling 1-800-592-2217, or can register on-site on the day of the event. For more information about the Mud Buddies Foundation, visit their website http://mudbuddiesfoundation.com/.
