A Fayette County man has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a local business.

Edward Alan Neff, Jr., 28, of Oak Hill was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering, Destruction of Property and Petit Larceny.

Neff is being charged in the April 25 break-in at Ed's Country Corner on WV Route 61 in Kincaid.

Police said Neff forced his way into the building by prying security bars off of a window.  The only item taken was a bank bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash. A review of the video surveillance footage at the location helped investigators identify the suspect.

Neff was arraigned in Magistrate Court in Fayette County and was sent to the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Court records indicate that he was already out on bond on unrelated charges at the time of the incident.
