FAIRLEA -
Dogs of all breeds and sizes were getting the royal treatment at the Beckley Kennel Club Dog Show in Fairlea Friday.
Professional handlers from all over the country are at the state fairgrounds this weekend in hopes of turning their dog into a champion.
The weekend features an obedience ring and a show ring.
"To end up best in show, that's what most of them want, or at least to finish the dog or get points on their dog so they can become a champion," said Nancy Bowman with Beckley Kennel Club.
The shows are open to the public and begin Saturday at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.
The shows wrap up each day at 3 p.m.
The Beckley Kennel Club hosts the event each year at the fairgrounds during the last weekend of April.
