Former Marshall defensive end Vinny Curry was picked with the 59th overall selection in the NFL Draft to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Curry was named the 2011 C-USA Defensive Player of the Year. He racked up 11 sacks and 22 tackles for loss for the Thundering Herd. In his career, he also forced 10 fumbles.
The Eagles went 8-8 last night, and finished the year with four straight wins.
