Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

One car crashed into a gas pump at the S&M Market in Bradshaw around 10:17 p.m. Thursday. Dispatchers with McDowell County Emergency Services say two people were trapped in the car. Bradshaw and Iaeger Fire
One car crashed into a gas pump at the S&M Market in Bradshaw around 10:17 p.m. Monday.
Authorities are investigating an armed robbery in Raleigh County.
It happened at the Little General on Harper Road in Beckley around 3a.m. on Saturday.
Police say no injuries were reported.
However, the thief got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robbery remains under investigation by the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department.
