The winner of the 'Greenbrier's Got Country Class' is named after the final round of competition Saturday night.

'The August' took home top honors after a fierce competition at The Greenbrier this week.

The Nashville group will go on to open for country music star Toby Keith at the Greenbrier Classic Concert series on July 4.

Langdon Reed of 'Wilson Fairchild' was among the finalists at Saturday night's competition. Although he didn't win Saturday, Fairchild said he'll be back next year, competing for another chance to become the next big star in country music.

"I believe country music is a story about real people in real life situations. It's so relatable to everybody and their world and what they're doing," said Fairchild.

Jim Justice, the owner of The Greenbrier, hopes to make the competition an annual affair, an intensive talent search for the next big star in country music.

"There are so many wonderful performers here. This is such a special night," added Justice.

The Greenbrier Classic Concert series begins on July 4, with Toby Keith, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, and the Fray.
