Police are looking for a suspect after an alleged home invasion on Saturday.
It happened at a residence on Gladstone Avenue in Beaver.
Detectives said Joshua McKinney, 23, broke into his elderly neighbor's home with a cinderblock, knocking the woman to the ground in pursuit of prescription pills.
Raleigh County Sheriff Steve Tanner is calling on McKinney to turn himself in.
"We are very concerned about his welfare right now. If he does have a drug addiction problem and it's reached the point where he's taking these kinds of actions, then he needs to turn himself in. We do need to hold him accountable, but right now we're trying to get him off the street," said Tanner.
Tanner is calling on anyone with information on McKinney's whereabouts to contact Crimestoppers at 255-STOP.
