WV. Agency Website Targets Discrimination

CHARLESTON (AP) -

The West Virginia Human Rights Commission wants to raise awareness about discrimination and make it easier for residents to file complaints when their rights are violated.

A new website announced Monday by the commission contains information about the process for filing complaints, along with complaint forms.

Residents also can learn about the West Virginia Human Rights Act and the West Virginia Fair Housing Act.

The website, www.hrc.wv.gov, also provides access to final decisions and orders issued by administrative law judges.
