New mothers with depression may be keeping their babies up at night.
A new study looks at how often women in their 40's should get mammogram's if they have double the average risk of getting breast cancer.
Researchers at Georgetown University found the benefits of getting the screening every other year outweigh the potential harms, but yearly mammogram's may do more bad than good.
That's because the high rate of false positive test results sometimes lead to needless procedures, pain and anxiety.
The study also found that digital mammogram's had substantially more false-positive results than film mammogram's.
