Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.

Fayette County sheriff deputies arrest a fugitive from Ohio.
Sheriff Steve Kessler says deputies stopped an ATV in the Glen Jean area around 8 p.m. Monday.
They said the driver, Dwayne Tumolo, 30, was operating recklessly in a residential area.
When a routine check was run on the Tumolo's license of the driver, they learned he was wanted in Ohio for felony drug charges.
Tumolo was caught after a short chase.
Tumolo faces charges of fleeing from an officer and obstructing a police officer in addition to being charged as a fugitive from justice from the state of Ohio.
He is in the southern Regional jail pending extradition to Ohio.
