LEWISBURG -

According to Lewisburg Police Chief Tim Stover, a tip from a 59 News viewer has lead to the arrest of a man who is now facing charges in both Greenbrier and Raleigh Counties.

On March 21, a complaint was filed by the Lewisburg Walmart, who released surveillance video of a suspect who allegedly stole approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry from a display case in the early morning hours.

59 News aired that surveillance video, which lead to a tip of "great benefit" being given to the Lewisburg Police Department. In the last days of April, Jimmy Graley, 36, of Clear Creek was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny relating to the Walmart incident.

Graley is currently in Southern Regional Jail, where he faces similar charges in Raleigh County. According to the West Virginia Regional Jail Authority website, Graley was booked on April 28, and currently has bail amounts of $10,000 in Greenbrier County and $25,000 in Raleigh.

Deputy Chief C. J. Teubert is the investigating officer in the incident. Assistance in the case was also provided by the Beckley Detachment of the West Virginia State Police.
