Suspects Busted For Copper Thefts Spanning Two Counties

Two suspects are behind bars Thursday after police say they stole copper.

Officials with the West Virginia State Police detachment in Whitesville say Harley Frayley, 23, of Beckley and Clarence Green, 24, of Whitesville are accused of stealing $25,000 worth of copper.

The suspects allegedly took copper from Frontier phone lines in Raleigh and Boone Counties.

They are both facing several charges including grand larceny and interruption of phone service.

Both men are being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
