The Greenbrier Humane Society and pleasesaveacat.com have
partnered with the Lewisburg Walmart to host an adoption drive and fundraiser
this weekend.
On Saturday, May 5, from 11
a.m. until 3 p.m., the
groups will be set up outside the garden center of the Lewisburg Walmart with
adoptable pets for viewing, and the pleasesaveacat.com "Cat Mobile."
Also during the event, representatives from
pleasesaveacat.com will be serving pet-themed hotdogs, such as the German
Shepard Dog, which comes with sauerkraut, and the Chihuahua Dog, which comes
with chili.
Pleasesaveacat.com is a non-profit no-kill shelter that primarily takes in animals from kill shelters across West Virginia.
