Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

The Mercer County Parents and Students Coalition Against Bullying is asking for help in an upcoming fundraiser.
The organization that aims to rid Mercer County of Bullying is planning a bake sale for Saturday May 12. Officials with the group are filing for 501c3 non-profit status and need members of the community to donate their delectable baked goods as a part of the money raising efforts.
The back sale will take place at the Family Dollar store on Stafford Drive in Princeton. The event will begin a 9 a.m.
