Hot Dog Giveaway on Saturday

Raleigh County fire fighters are putting in a last and final effort to have the fire levy pass with the help offering free hot dogs to the public.

Saturday starting at 10 a.m. city and volunteer fire fighters will be handing out free hot dogs until they run out at the Beckley Fire Department on Eisenhower Drive.

Beckley Fire, Chief Billie Trump said the event isn't just to fill your belly, "There will be a number of people from a number of different departments from around the county to answer any questions and provide any info you might need on the fire levy."

Approximately 3,000 hot dogs will be given away on Saturday.

There will also we an open house at the volunteer fire department in Bradley from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The open house is to let the public tour the station and the fire fighters equipment to get a better sense of the repairs needed.
