COVEL -
Investigators in Wyoming County dig for clues in a morning fire.
Happening now, a community searches for answers after 2 people are confirmed dead after a blaze broke out in Covel.
"They are going to be missed just like anyone else who gets lost in the community," Bobby David said.
Bobby Davis woke-up Monday morning to a shocking scene.
"That house was fully engulfed in flames. No body was going to live through this fire," Davis continued.
Around 2:20 Monday morning Davis saw his neighbors home completely engulfed in a deadly blaze and he immediately dialed 911.
Crews from Mullens and Pineville Fire Departments rushed to a home along Gooney Otter Hollow Road.
Mullens Fire Department Public Information Officer was the first to arrive on the scene.
"It was real foggy. The glow off the fire it looked tremendous when I came up through here. The fog made it reflect larger once I got out of my vehicle and crossed the bridge I had realized the structure had fell in," Amon Stanley with the Mullens Fire Department said.
Stanley said the roof of the home did cave in making it a very difficult to locate anything in the rubble.
The first victim was found Monday afternoon and the second victim was discovered several hours later.
Officials said the State Fire Marshal are continuing their investigation for a cause.
But for now, the Covel Community is searching for answers.
"It is just heartbreaking," Davis said.
