For the first time, Mountain State University has so many graduates that it's holding two ceremonies.
More than 600 students are earning degrees this week, beating the past high of 439.
Interim President Richard Sours said ceremonies will be held at 6 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.
Friday is for graduate health science, nursing and physician assistant students, and for undergrads from the schools of health sciences and nursing.
Saturday is for graduate criminal justice, interdisciplinary studies, psychology and strategic leadership students. Undergrads from arts and sciences, business and technology, and the School of Leadership will also participate.
About 25 students from campuses in Mooresville, N.C., and Hickory, N.C., also will attend.
Campuses in Martinsburg, Center Township, Pa., and Orlando will conduct separate ceremonies.
