Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

One car crashed into a gas pump at the S&M Market in Bradshaw around 10:17 p.m. Monday.
It was a record-breaking night for the 24th annual Celebrity Night in Raleigh County.
Local celebrities filled in for servers at several area restaurants to raise money for the Women's Resource Center and United Way of Southern West Virginia.
According to Executive Director of the United Way Margaret O'Neal, tips collected at Celebrity Night totalled more than $30 thousand thanks to generous donations from diners.
"Last night was awesome. We get more excited every year. Just when you think there's no way the community can step it up and come close to what we did last year, they did it again. We had an amazing night," said O'Neal.
Last year's Celebrity Night raised around $30 thousand.
