A couple of interesting developments: County Commissioner Leonard Anderson was upset in the run for the Democratic nomination.

He was defeated by a former Hinton area barber, Tony Williams.

Former Summers County Sheriff Garry Wheeler has secured the Democratic nomination for sheriff. He'll face off against current Sheriff Edward Dolphin.
