Posted: Updated:

A former television crime fighter and anti-gang activist is facing new criminal charges.

Media outlets report that police arrested Andrew Palmer, 45, in the Cabin Creek area Wednesday night on breaking and entering charges.

In December of 2008, Palmer plead guilty in Kanawha County Circuit Court to breaking and entering and two misdemeanor theft-related charges.

He was sentenced in August 2009 to three years of home confinement.

He formerly hosted the cable access TV show "West Virginia's Most Wanted" and founded Chain Breakers, an anti-gang group.

Palmer is being held at the South Central Regional Jail.
