A special meeting of the Raleigh County Board of Education will focus on the proposed budget for 2012-2013.
The public hearing is planned for 4:30 p.m. at the board of education offices on Adair Street in Beckley.
The hearing will be followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Math Instructional Coach, Deborah Cantley will present the Math Field Day awards. There will also be an update on Technology and the Executive Director of RESA, Keith Butcher will also give update the Board.
The following revisions to the Raleigh County Expected Behavior in Safe and Supportive Schools Policy and Manual will also be approved for placement on 30-day comment.

· Bullying, Harassment and Intimidation Policy
· Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Grievance Procedure Policy
· Raleigh, Religious/Ethnic Harassment, Discrimination and Violence Policy
· Anti-Hazing Policy
· Investigation and Searches of Pupils by School Officials Policy
· Cooperation with Law Enforcement Agencies Policy
· Alternative Education Program for Disruptive Students Policy
