West Virginia Grantmakers and the West Virginia Non-Profit Association (WVNPA) are holding a town hall forum this afternoon.
The event planned for 2:45 p.m. at the Erma Byrd Center in Beaver aims to promote an interactive discussion around the creation of the WVNPA and its future work. Representatives of the WVNPA Advisory Board, West Virginia Grantmakers and the West Virginia Community Development Hub will be on hand. Non-profit and community leaders are invited to join the discussion.
According to a release by WV Grantmakers, one out of ten jobs in the mountain state are with non-profit organizations. Similar forums are planned across the state. The next one will be on Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. It will be held at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg.
