LEWISBURG -

The Greenbrier Valley welcomed a new food business Thursday with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Greenbrier Farm Market is located in north Lewisburg and offers a variety of produce, West Virginia food products, and homemade breads.

The owners have spent the last five years researching the idea of opening a permanent farm market in Lewisburg.

"We know that the folks around this area were really looking for a place where they could get fresh vegetables, local as soon as we can carry them, and some great baked goods. That was our primary goal," said Nancy Wardwell, owner of Greenbrier Farm Market.

Each Saturday, the store sells homemade cinnamon rolls until the supply runs out.

You can also find a variety of jams, butters, dressings, and even handmade candles and soaps.

The store is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
