Semi-professional soccer and baseball player's unveil a plan Thursday afternoon to give everyone an incentive to buckle up.
The West Virginia Miners Baseball and The King's Warriors Soccer Club are uniting with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office to support the Click it or Ticket campaign.
Lieutenant Paul Blume Coordinator with the Southern Regional Highway Safety Office said both are two great organizations and he was proud to be tied in with this enforcement of Click it or Ticket.
Starting Friday May 11th until May 28th officers will be giving those obeying seat belt laws will get free tickets to miners games and warrior soccer matches.
Warriors Head Coach Scott Reitnour said the campaign was important to support, "We talk about safety with our players and so we ask them to model that off the field as well."
Tim Epling the Head Coach with the Miners said he agrees with Reitnour, "I think it's a great way for us to support the community with the project their doing."
Four hundred free tickets are up for grabs.
The King's Warriors have their first ever soccer game Friday, May 11th at 7p.m. t the Paul Cline Sports Complex in Beckley.
The King Warriors will take on a team from Nashville.
Tickets are just 8 dollars. Senior citizens, students, and members of the military get in for 6 dollars, and 12 and under children get in free.
