The mother of a missing Wyoming County man tells 59 News the body found Friday in a swimming pool at a residence on Bear Branch Road is her son, Chester Stuart.

Stuart went missing last August, along with three others: Sherry Myers, Rachel Toler, and Brian Cook.

Although no positive I.D. has been made yet, Stuart said she was told by deputies of the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department that they have reason to believe the body recovered by a house attendant on Friday is Stuart.

Dispatchers confirmed the discovery of human remains at the residence near Oceana on Friday.

Larry Lambert, a neighbor, said the house had been uninhabited for more than two years.

As 59 News continues to follow this story, updates will be provided as they become available.
