Beckley is getting its kicks this
weekend with the 12th Annual Little General Stores Darrell Moore Memorial
Soccer Classic.
The
event is held at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex. More than 30
teams are taking part in the tournament. Daniel Vass, Tournament Director, said he
expects the event to bring in between 600-800 people.
Teams are from West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Darrell
Moore was a YMCA soccer coach who passed away in 1999.
