BLOOMINGROSE -

A manhunt is underway in Boone County for a suspect linked to a double homicide.

Boone County Sheriff Rodney Miller tells 59 News that they're searching the area around Bloomingrose for Timothy Parsons, 36.

They say Parson's wife and mother-in-law were found dead yesterday in their house on River Avenue in Blooomingrose.

Both womens' throats were slashed. His wife's teenage daughter was raped.

Parson's silver Mustang was found up Slaughters' Creek and they believe Parsons is now on foot.

The nearby elementary school was put on lockdown because the wife's five year old daughter attended the school.

The grandmother's name is Sue Kinder, 62, of Lexington, Kentucky.

Her daughter, Parson's wife is Leigh Ann Kinder-Parsons of Bloomingrose.

The teenage daughter was bound, but was able to escape and contacted a neighbor for help.
