Suspect in W.Va. Double Slaying Captured

BELLE (AP) -

A Boone County man sought in the slayings of his wife and his mother-in-law is in custody.

Sheriff Rodney Miller tells media outlets that police arrested 36-year-old Timothy Parsons without incident around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at a makeshift camp along the Kanawha River in Belle.

Authorities found the bodies of Parsons' wife, Leigh Ann Kinder-Parsons, and her mother, Sue Kinder of Lexington, Ky., on Tuesday at the couple's home in Bloomingrose.

Miller says both women's throats were slashed. Kinder-Parsons' teenage daughter escaped and contacted a neighbor for help.

Timothy Parsons is charged with two counts of murder. He's being held at the South Central Regional Jail.
