WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS -

With only 46 days remaining until tee time for the third Greenbrier Classic, owner Jim Justice said this year's tournament is going to be the best one yet.

The Greenbrier Classic was ranked "Best in Class Tournament on the PGA Tour" in 2011, but Justice said this year's list of players is even more impressive.

Justice announced Monday that golfing legend Tiger Woods has committed to the July tournament in White Sulphur Springs.

Justice said getting Tiger Woods was one of his top priorities.

"A real appeal from his side in regard to all the history. All the history of the course. Snead, Hogan, Arnold Palmer getting his first check here," said Justice.

Justice referred to Tiger as the Babe Ruth of our generation.

Justice said with a big week in golf, and big name concert acts such as Toby Keith, Lionel Richie, and Bon Jovi, this year's fourth of July week tournament is sure to put West Virginia on the map for the third straight year.

The tournament runs July 2- July 8.
