To get ready for the tens of thousands of scouts and their families to arrive next year for the Boy Scout Jamboree, area businesses are working now to make a lasting impression.

Visit Southern West Virginia hosted a customer service training at Tamarack Thursday morning.

Over 100 business, restaurants and hotel managers gathered to hear, Rita Suiter a hospitality specialist give some guidance on how to make a great first impression.

"The message is we've go company coming and we need to get our house in order. That's what we are doing. We want to put our best face for everybody and treat everyone special so they'll come back again and again," said Doug Maddy with Visit Southern West Virginia.
