A group of Cub Scouts in southern West Virginia is staying busy this summer.

Cub Scout Troupe 199 stopped by the Ghent studio to learn a little more about the news business.

Some of the news staff gave the first through fifth grade boys a tour.

It was part of an effort to keep the scouts active during the summer.

They're trying to recruit new volunteer leaders and cub scouts as well.

Leaders encourage parents and students to sign up prior to the beginning of the upcoming school year.
