Fayette County Crash Sends 4 People to Hospital - Beckley, Bluefield & Lewisburg News, Weather, Sports

Four people are injured in a Fayette County crash.

The head-on collision happened around 5 p.m. Friday on Route 16 in Oak Ridge.

That's near Fayetteville.

One person was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center and the other three were taken to Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.

There is no word on their conditions at this time.

Sheriff's deputies said alcohol does appear to be a factor in the accident.

The crash is under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.
