Members of the media had the opportunity to set their sights on some targets Saturday afternoon.
Members from the Bluefield Daily Telegraph and 59News came out to media day the Beckley Gun Club.
Members of the media had the opportunity to shoot several .20 gauge shotguns and .22 pistols. But while they were having fun, they want other members of the community to join in.
The Beckley Gun Club has memberships available for avid and novice marksmen.
"Our matches are fun things," said Tom Cozort of the Beckley Gun Club. "We do it for fun and we do it for people to learn. I guarantee you, if you come out, meet the people.. You'll have a good time and you'll learn something."
Next Saturday, Beckley Gun Club will offer a Women Shooting competition next weekend at 11 a.m.
