New Jobs in West Virginia Offer Employees Big Money

Posted: Updated:

Dominion Resources is looking to hire up to 45 workers at its natural gas processing plant set to open in December in West Virginia.

Reports state that the jobs paying nearly $30 per hour are on their way to Marshall County.

Dominion spokesman Charles Penn says the positions will be for electricians, gas processing plant operators and loaders.

Construction continues on the $500 million natural gas processing plant along the Ohio River.

Dominion has said the plant is needed to keep up with the increased drilling activity that produces so-called "wet" natural gas that contains large amounts of propane, butane, methane and other products.

Officials have said Natrium is an ideal location to access production in both the Marcellus and Utica shale regions.
