People in one Charleston community were shocked Monday morning when they woke up to find Ku Klux Klan recruitment material in their yards.
Residents in the Westmoreland area found plastic bags containing small rocks and two pieces of paper sharing the KKK's message.
Some residents said they just threw the papers away. Others said they were extremely upset.
"I just didn't expect to see something like that passed around in the neighborhoods," said resident Bob Rhodes.
The Charleston Police Department said they had not received any complaints.
We called the number listed on the recruitment materials and received an automated message.
