Visitation and funeral arrangements for former WVU Football Coach Bill Stewart were announced Tuesday.

On Thursday, May 24, there will be a public viewing from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Morgantown Event Center.

On Friday, May 25, a funeral will be held at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The private mass for family, close friends, coaches and former players will start at 10 a.m.

A funeral procession to Stewart's hometown of New Martinsville will follow the service and will start at 2 p.m. An honorary salute at the Magnolia High School Football Field will be at 4 p.m.

Stewart will then be buried at the North View Cemetery in New Martinsville.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Bill Stewart Memorial Community Fund, C/O the Greater Morgantown Trust, P.O. Box 409, Morgantown, WV 26507.

The McCulla Funeral Home located in Morgantown will be in charge of arrangements.
