A week after the body of a missing Wyoming County man is recovered from a pool near Matheny, the search is on for a suspect.

Chester Stewart's body was recovered less than half a mile from where the remains of Rachel Toler were found last fall beside her family's cemetery.

Toler and Stewart went missing last August along with two others -- Sherry Myers and Brian Cook.

On Tuesday, deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department continued their search for the remaining two.

"My personal feelings are it would have to be somebody that knows the area well. With the location of these two particular bodies, it would have to be somebody that knew the area," said Randall Aliff, Wyoming County Sheriff.

Aliff said there are several persons of interest at this point, but no suspect. "We're following up on leads. We've got evidence down at the state police lab we're waiting on the results. Hopefully we'll be able to come to a conclusion about what actually happened."

Since the discovery of Stewart last Friday, Aliff said deputies have been searching the surrounding area, combing for some clue that might lead to a suspect.

"We are getting a little bit more information now than we were prior to this, so hopefully it will lead to something," said Aliff.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department.
