Free Elections Under Way in Egypt

Posted: Updated:

Egyptians are going to the polls on Wednesday, in what many consider to by the country's first free and fair presidential elections.

The race is heating up between secular and religious candidates.  Amr Moussa, the former foreign minister under Hosnei Mubarak, is the leading secular candidate.  His main opponent is Dr. Aboul Fotouh.  He is the former head of the Muslim Brotherhood, but is running as an independent in the hope of attracting more voters.
