Beckley Water Issues Boil Water Advisory for Some Daniels Residents

DANIELS -

A broken main water line in the Daniels area has lead Beckley Water Company to issue an boil water advisory for Shan-Lyn-Le Village.

According to a released issued on Wednesday, May 23, the conditions indicate there is a chance the water may be contaminated.  However, water quality testing has not occurred to conform or deny the presence of contamination in your water.

Residents should not drink, cook or use water for hygienic purposes without boiling first.  Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute then allowed to cool before use.

Beckley Water crews are working to reestablish normal conditions.  Customers will be informed when they may use water normally.
