LEWISBURG -
The West Virginia State Police is currently searching for a wanted individual and his family, following his failure to appear in Greenbrier County Circuit Court for a scheduled appearance on Tuesday, May 22.
As previously reported by 59 News (http://bit.ly/KRePvg), 38-year-old Stephen Hendrix of Crichton was last seen Saturday evening. As a result of his failure to appear in court, a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Neither Hendrix, his 2 minor children nor his cohabitating girlfriend Amber Martin have been heard from since May 19. Additionally, Martin missed a scheduled appearance at the Greenbrier County Magistrate Court on Monday.
"Given the circumstances of Mr. Hendrix and Ms. Martin failing to appear for scheduled court hearings, and the expressed concern of family and friends regarding the whereabouts of this family, the State Police is actively seeking any information that may assist in locating them," said Prosecuting Attorney Patrick I. Via.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hendrix, his two children or Martin is strongly encouraged to contact the West Virginia State Police at (304) 647-7600.
