‘Cabaret' Comes to Greenbrier Valley Theater

LEWISBURG -

"Cabaret" will be on stage at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre. The productions will run through June 2.

American writer Cliff Bradshaw travels to pre-World War II Berlin in search of inspiration. He finds that and more in Sally Bowles, an entertainer at a cabaret called the Kit Kat Klub. Bradshaw and Bowles fall in love, but their lives are thrown into disarray with the increasing strength of Hitler's Nazi Party.

Based on the play "I Am a Camera" by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, "Cabaret" received 15 Tony Awards and eight Academy Awards.

Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and matinees begin at 3 p.m.
