W.Va. Gas Prices Down 3.2 Cents in Past Week

CHARLESTON (AP) -

Gas prices in West Virginia will be about 14 cents less per gallon heading into the Memorial Day weekend compared with a year ago.

AAA East Central says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the state is $3.68. That's down 3.2 cents from last week and the same price as the national average.

Prices in the state range from $3.59 in Parkersburg to $3.77 in Charleston.

Gas prices have receded statewide since peaking at about $3.97 in early April.
