Mount Airy Murder Suspect Turns Self in, 2 Remain on the Run

Just several days after a Mount Airy cashier died after being shot in an armed robbery, one of the suspects has turned herself in.

According to officials, Sarah Lynn Looney surrendered herself to the Bluefield Police Department for her role in an armed robbery that turned deadly on Friday, May 25, 2012. Police said she is facing charges for conspiracy to commit an armed robbery and accessory after the fact to murder.

Detectives with the Mount Airy Police Department said on Monday 2 suspects walked into Eddie's Zip Foods and demanded cash from Donald Claude Arnder the cashier.  During the robbery one of the suspect open fired on Arnder and he later died from injuries related to the shooting.

Now, detectives said warrants have been issued for Emanuel William Foster, a 23-year old black male from Bluefield and 28-year old Joshua Robert Berry, a white man also from Bluefield.
