The 5th Annual Rhythm, Blues & All That Jazz Weekend is three days of music May 31 – June 2 at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg.
The event begins Thursday, May 31, with a free kick-off evening concert outside on the Ivy Terrace featuring Studebaker John. It includes a showing of the PBS American Masters documentary on Mississippi Delta bluesman Muddy Waters at 7p.m.
At 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 1, a night of award-winning jazz from prodigy saxophonist Grace Kelly and her quintet is planned. Tickets are $20.
Saturday, June 2, is a full-day event featuring blues artists throughout the afternoon and with performances by Rory Block, Lucky Peterson and Shane Dwight. Tickets are $30.
