The American Red Cross is giving you an incentive to donate blood this summer.
Over the month of June, members of the Red Cross Rewards Club, rewards PLUS program who give the gift of life will be entered to win a $500 Gas Card. Donors will also receive double Red Cross Rewards Club points for their donation.
The drawing with the Appalachian Region. The winner will have a choice of getting their gas card for Exxon, BP, Shell, Sheetz or Sunoco and will be notified by July, 6 at 5 p.m. The winner will also be listed at www.redcrossblood.org/appalachian on July 11.
The blood drives in southern West Virginia Kick off tomorrow in Raleigh and Mercer Counties. From 12-5 p.m. the Red Cross will be set up at Ghent Fire Department. From 12-6 p.m. they will be at the Mercer Mall and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. they will be at Ramey Row in Princeton.
