Police in Taylor County are searching for a Raleigh County native who escaped from the Pruntytown Correctional Center Saturday night.

Matthew Stuart Wade, 49, is a Caucasian male, 5 foot-four-inches tall, weighing around 240 pounds.

Wade has black hair and green eyes and multiple tattoos.

Debbie Young from the correctional center in Grafton said Wade escaped from the correctional center Saturday around 8p.m.
