Women helping motivate women to take charge of their lives.

There are two hundred women attending the empowering women conference at Tamarack today.

The "shoe" style theme of the conference encouraged women to "step up" their lives in all aspects.

"This is our 8th annual women's conference and the reason for the conference is to bring women together to learn and also to network. we will have over 200 here today and it really gives them a chance to talk to source and find others they can call," Tara Elder with the Business and Training Center said.

Some of the key-note speakers included Mary Foley, former co-host of "Girlfriend We Gotta Talk" radio show and Rhonda Abrams, one of America's foremost experts on entrepreneurship and small businesses.
