Law Enforcement officers in Raleigh County spent the morning of Friday, June 8 serving arrest warrants.

Warrants for individuals with charges ranging from marijuana to prescription drugs.  Detective Gant Montgomery said the combined efforts of law enforcement worked together in order to make the arrests.

Montgomery said the departments try to do round-ups like this about twice a year.

As of noon on Friday, they managed to arrest 8 individuals, they hope to increase that number through out the day.
