The Beckley Derby Dames took a break from the track to help out a good cause on Saturday.

They were at the roller rink in Mabscott to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network in Morgantown.

For $5, kids and parents can improve their skating skills with Beckley's finest on the rink.

"We like to instill good values in girls and children in general, show them that you can be outside the box and still be really cool and do good for people," said Stephanie 'Cupcake Cadavier' Olney, on why the team chose the charity.

Meanwhile, the derby dames are getting ready for their next match at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center on July 7.
