ATV enthusiasts took over the mountain state this weekend for "the thrill on the hills" jamboree.

"The event was very successful! We had over 500 people come on out it was wonderful! we had a lot of riders who took on the challenge at the rock and competed and won some great prizes," Lisa Gale, Burning Rock Adventure Park said.

Hundreds of folks came to Burning Rock Outdoor adventure park to put their skills to the test on tracks with jumps, bumps, spills, thrills and of course MUD.

"The mud pits were so much fun! Especially seeing people get stuck and get pulled through those. But generally being around all of our friends is the best part," Aaron Stowers, of Lincoln County said.

Reality TV star and ATV riding professional, Brian Fisher, even joined in on the action.

My favorite trail was the Amazon it is going to take you 3 hours to get through it you are going to get stuck but that is part of the fun and adventure of coming here and riding," Brian Fisher, ATV Professional said.

Fishers camera crews for "Fishers ATV World" even tagged a long for the fun. Fisher said this won't be a weekend he'll soon forget.

"I'd come back and visit any time! I feel like this is my second home," Fisher continued.
